Advertising and Sponsorship Policy

Reviewed 22 September 2026. Tymbra is designed as an editorial publication and does not use its pages to make financial promises or pressure readers into action.

This policy covers display messages, sponsorships, affiliate arrangements, newsletter placements, commercial links, and any other paid relationship. The site remains focused on education and research rather than direct response promotion. A commercial relationship must not obscure who is speaking or why a message appears. The policy is read together with the Editorial Policy, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy.

1. Editorial separation

Any clearly labelled commercial message must remain visually and textually distinct from editorial articles.

Labels should be understandable without relying on hover states, color, or a hidden disclosure. Sponsorship language should appear near the message rather than only on a remote policy page. Paid placement cannot change the headline, conclusion, source selection, or correction process of an editorial article. Readers should be able to distinguish a reference used for research from a commercial placement.

2. Prohibited claims

We do not accept claims of guaranteed returns, risk-free outcomes, cures, certainty, or urgency. We avoid misleading comparisons and unverifiable superlatives.

Review also considers whether a statement could confuse an educational reader about costs, conditions, eligibility, security, performance, or the identity of a provider. Claims should be supported by current, relevant evidence and should not omit a material qualification. We do not accept pressure language, fabricated endorsements, or claims that imply an outcome is assured. Material may be rejected before publication or removed after a complaint.

3. Financial topics

References to digital assets are educational. They are not invitations to buy, sell, trade, stake, or speculate.

A financial-topic message must not use Tymbra’s editorial authority to imply a personal recommendation. It should identify the provider, jurisdiction, material conditions, and destination clearly where applicable. We may decline content that targets vulnerable readers, obscures risk, or lacks a reviewable basis. Readers should consult current official information and qualified advisers for decisions affecting their circumstances.

4. Review

Potential partners must provide accurate identity, destination, and substantiation for claims. The desk may reject material that conflicts with reader safety.

Review materials may include the advertiser’s legal name, contact details, landing-page copy, evidence supporting objective statements, and the intended run dates. Review is a publication decision, not an endorsement of a product or service. A destination can be rechecked if its wording, ownership, or behavior changes. The desk may request revisions, add a disclosure, pause a message, or decline the arrangement.

5. Disclosure

Paid relationships, if ever accepted, will be disclosed near the relevant message in plain language.

A disclosure should identify the commercial nature of the relationship without using ambiguous wording. Affiliate links, sponsored explainers, and paid placements may require different labels depending on their format. A disclosure remains visible on mobile layouts and accessible to keyboard and assistive-technology users. If the relationship ends, the archive record may remain where needed to preserve historical context.

6. User choice

Readers can reject optional cookies and leave linked destinations. Advertising does not determine access to the archive.

Declining optional measurement should not remove access to ordinary articles or policy pages. A reader is not required to submit contact information to view the editorial archive. External destinations may apply their own terms and cookie choices after a link is followed. Questions about cookie controls are handled under the Cookie Policy.

7. Third parties

External advertisers are responsible for their own pages, products, services, and privacy notices.

Tymbra cannot control a destination after publication, including its availability, security, data practices, pricing, eligibility, or legal compliance. A link may be removed when it becomes unavailable, materially changes, or no longer matches its description. Readers should verify the destination and review its current notices independently. Reporting a concern helps the desk assess whether a message should remain visible.

8. Complaints

Send a concern with the page address, date, and issue. We review misleading or inappropriate messages promptly.

Include a screenshot or exact wording when safe and practical, but do not send passwords, private keys, or confidential documents. We aim to acknowledge a complaint within seven calendar days and to complete an initial review within 30 days. A message may be paused while facts are checked. The outcome may include correction, clarification, removal, or a decision to retain the message with an explanation.

9. Revision history

Initial policy publication: 22 September 2026. The policy will be reviewed during the 2026 editorial cycle.

The review considers ad formats, disclosure placement, reader complaints, destination changes, and applicable platform or legal requirements. A material revision will receive a new date and a concise description. Historical dates help readers understand which standard applied when a placement appeared. The current policy remains the version shown on this page.

10. Contact

45 Seolleung-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06149, Republic of Korea · +82 2-3486-7153.

For an advertising-policy question, identify the page, message, date, and concern. The contact channel is for editorial and compliance correspondence, not an order or support channel for an external advertiser. Tymbra aims to acknowledge ordinary correspondence within seven calendar days.

Review, disclosure, and complaints

Each proposed commercial message is reviewed for identity, substantiation, audience suitability, landing-page consistency, and separation from editorial material. A disclosure should be visible at the point where a reader encounters the relationship, including on mobile layouts and in newsletter formats.

Commercial partners may be asked to provide current evidence for factual statements, pricing context, eligibility conditions, material limitations, and the date on which a claim was checked. A source supplied by a partner does not replace independent editorial review. Affiliate links, if used, are labelled before or beside the relevant link, and their presence does not determine whether an article is published or corrected.

Readers may report a misleading label, broken commercial disclosure, inaccurate statement, or undisclosed relationship through the contact page or by writing to 45 Seolleung-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06149, Republic of Korea. Tymbra aims to acknowledge a report within 7 business days and review it within 30 days. A message may be paused, corrected, relabelled, or removed while the review is conducted. Advertising correspondence is normally retained for 24 months after the relationship or complaint closes.

Some advertising, measurement, hosting, or email providers may process limited technical data outside the Republic of Korea. Tymbra limits such processing to the stated service and considers contractual safeguards, access controls, and applicable privacy duties. No partner receives contact submissions merely because it sponsors a page.
